Martie Peters has supported the RSFC many times performing at the annual RSFC Big Weekend and One Day'ers... now The RSFC support

 "SHADES & PETERS"

They are currently recording their debut album to be released in 2012. A five track ep, "Coming Around" containing five tracks from the album has just been released which can be purchased from their Facebook page.

Rene Shades & Martie Peters have been friends since childhood and have been involved in numerous projects and have teamed up for the first time in many years to form "SHADES & PETERS".

"It Was the right thing to do at the right time": Peters says: "This Band is who we are and what we grew up on. It's probably the most honest record we could make at this time in our lives".

Inspired by Classic Rock Acts like Bryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen and Rod Stewart but they also have a certain influence from the Nashville scene such as Keith Urban, Sugarland and Rascal Flatts who has left a lasting impression which shines through in their music.

A gathering of the duo’s musical heroes play on the album. Some of the prominent names who appear on the album are Jim Cregan, Kevin Savigar, Jimmy Z, Tony Brock - all from Rod Stewart’s legendary band from the 70s and 80s. Mickey Curry from the Bryan Adams band plays drums and Paul Bushnell esteemed Bass Player who plays with everyone from Elton John to Miley Cyrus.

The Album is currently being recorded all over the world.
