BIG Weekend 2019

We have been celebrating the music of Rod Stewart at our BIG Weekend's since 2002. Allowing YOU the chance to meet and interact with other like minded fans of Rod. Friendships have been formed over the years and they continue to do so... do you want to have fun over three days, laughing, drinking and dancing each night away to the sounds Rod played by 'live artists' and the real deal by our DJ........... Mr Gary Price...

We have made wishes come true for three kids @MakeAWishUK . Thank you to all who worked on this and everyone who made an effort to donate to a wonderful charity. Of course thanks also to our club matron Mary and her brother @rodstewart for continued support. #itswhatwedo @rsfc

The three wishes granted are detailed below.
Our fundraising efforts at The BIG Weekend have funded these.

The first child’s wish is to go to Legoland in Denmark. The child is 11 years old living in Scotland and suffers with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.

The second child Ikram from Leicestershire is going to Cyprus for a 7 night holiday with her mum & her best friend. She wants to go snorkelling as well which has been arranged.

The third child is Oliver.
Olivers mum was incredibly overwhelmed that we were going to pay for all elements of their trip to Disneyland Paris and also to take her husband and Oliver’s sister Nancy who is 7 years old. Oliver cannot walk and is completely wheelchair bound.

All who helped before and during the BIG Weekend, those who donated at the BIG Weekend, on Just Giving and your own personal fundraising, your kindness and support is not only changing children’s lives but is also creating lasting memories for their whole family.

You all should feel incredibly proud of this.
