The rocker, 76, and Penny, 50, were exiting Scott's restaurant in Mayfair after a romantic date when Derek flashed a cheeky smile for onlookers.
The Maggie May hitmaker showed off his individual style in a grey checkered suit jacket, while Penny looked lovely in a floral maxi dress.
Rod accessorised with a black-and-white checkered tie, which he draped around his buttoned-down white shirt.
He has been enjoying a sun-soaked break away in France with his family.
And Rod Stewart was seen cosying up to wife Penny Lancaster while dining at a restaurant in Saint Paul de Vence, France, on Monday.

Sir Rod Stewart, 76, has made a dig at the newly enforced quarantine rules from the UK government, as he enjoyed a holiday in the South Of France alongside his wife Penny Lancaster, 50. The Maggie May singer shared his annoyance over the changing regulations as the country was placed on the amber list amid fears the Beta variant of the coronavirus could spread from France to England.
Sir Rod who is enjoying a luxurious holiday in the European country was left far from pleased over the news.
On his Instagram today he shared a photo of himself holiday a newspaper with the heading “French Holiday Chaos”.
He typed alongside the image: “Another fine mess.”
The restriction comes amid UK fears that the Beta variant of the coronavirus could spread from the country.
Surviving Faces members Rod Stewart, Ron Wood, and Kenney Jones have reformed to record new songs, according to a new interview with Wood in The Times. The trio has reunited for a handful of brief live appearances in recent years, but there hasn’t been a new Faces album since 1973’s Ooh La La. A spokesperson for Stewart did not immediately respond to Rolling Stones’ request for comment.
